These grapes are sourced from the Apuglia (Puglia) region in southeastern Italy. The region borders the Adriatic Sea in the east, the Ionian Sea to the southeast, and the Strait of ̉tranto and Gulf of Taranto in the south. The vineyard is family owned and managed by the Tenuta dei Cavaliere company.
